Because we felt wind drag caused the problem, we built a flyer that reduces drag and keeps machine motors lasting longer. Each flyer folds flat for quick setup and easy transport. It mounts directly to rotary machines using the included adaptor—just confirm your machine’s arm has a rounded end approximately 1/4″ in diameter. For transport, pack flyers in our new Deadly Decoys® Flyer Decoy Bag (available Fall 2025). This bag protects wing spars and keeps your gear organized between hunts. To reduce motor strain, we added white mesh to the bottom of each flyer. As a result, battery life improved dramatically and motor replacements became far less frequent. In fact, we downsized from a 73 lb deep cycle battery to a 22 lb sealed lead acid battery—cutting weight, lowering costs, and still getting full-day runtime in the field. The rotary machine is not included, and Deadly Decoys® does not manufacture or sell rotary machines. Most rotary machines run two flyers per unit.
