"Alcohol Free" Hand Sanitizing Lotion kills 99% of Germs up to 4 Hours, 32oz.

I think it protects and moisturizes my hands well. It’s not too thin, too thick, or sticky at all. I don’t know if it actually sanitizes my hands for “up to 4 hours” because… how am I supposed to test that? I have to believe that it can do what it says or they wouldn’t be able to say it, right?In any case, I have OCD, so for people like me that are germophobes (the technical term is “mysophobia”) this is a godsend. In the past when I wasn’t home I would have to use hand sanitizer on my hands every time I needed to use my phone, go in my bag, or had to touch something else that was clean. That could cause me to use a lot of hand sanitizer. So, I went through it quickly and it wasn’t so great for the skin on my hands. With this, I set an alarm on my phone for every 3 and a half hours or so (less time if I’m touching a lot of stuff or have to touch things that are really gross, like money) and don’t have to worry about using it every time I want to touch something clean. I know it’s weird to set an alarm to sanitize your hands every few hours but it is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.I only have two complaints. 1. I don’t have any actual way of knowing that it is actually working (which I try not to think about). At least with alcohol-based hand sanitizers I can smell the alcohol (or if there’s a cut on my hand or something I can feel the burn) but with this I just have to take them at their word. 2. It kind of smells funny. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but it’s like… a musty earthy smell. It doesn’t smell like fruits or flowers or anything like that that you might think it would smell like because of the ingredients. So, what I do is, I put some of this on my hands and put a little bit of another lotion that smells good on my hands. Problem solved.TL;DR:Pros: Moisturizes well. Not sticky. Lasts a long time (as compared to alcohol based sanitizers that you have to use repeatedly).Cons: Smells a little funky.ps. I’m miffed that they raised the price since I bought it last :(.
